My wife’s brother brought over 2 live lobsters from a fishing trip. I love making food and have posted about both cooking and my knife collection.
Today, after 2 days in the fridge the lobsters were just waiting to be marinated. I did not want to cook them on the stove or boil them. I thought grilled will be just tasty enough!
Getting Ready for Lobster Dinner
Since these lobsters did not have the typical large claws I decided to have just the tails. Getting my trusty knife to cut the tails.
Lobster dipping sauce & Marinade
The marined is simple as pie – lemon juice, salt pepper, paprika & just a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. Melting the butter in a saucepan with the squeezed lemon.
Grilling the lobster
Getting them on the grill and just before putting them, I put salt, pepper, and paprika on the tail. Heated the grill to the max and used a sheet of aluminum foil.
The cooking time varies based on weight and moisture content. I grill them to an internal temperature of 140°F. As soon as it hits the temp its off the grill and onto a plate.
Lobster Dinner is ready
What good Russian dinner does not come with potatoes, veggies, homemade bread and vodka?
